Measuring 47 x 5cm and weighing 450g, it has a straight, cylindrical shape that allows you to keep your hands close to the dough and apply even pressure. (It also doubles as a mallet for tenderising meat!) Suitable for both home and commercial kitchens, it will last a lifetime. Do not place in the dishwasher; just wipe clean and occasionally rub with mineral oil for smoothness and lustre.
